The risk is still there. It only takes one drunk driver, one texting driver, or one red light runner. There are a lot of threads on uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage, but I think it is one of the most important things you can have on your policy. Health insurance and disability insurance still have big gaps.If you have health insurance, drop your uninsured/underinsured. I did at State Farm/Florida and saved 30%. You will have folks screaming "you should not do that". But if you drive 2000mi a year what is the risk, I drive 6500?
